Take the road to Palma del Río (A-431) and follow the direction Madinat al-Zahra. You must park the car in the parking of the Visitor Reception Centre and wait to the tour guide next to shuttle bus stop. The shuttle bus is the only authorized transport to get the archaeological site.
By public transport:
Daily bus (from Tuesday to Sunday) at the following times:
• 10:15 h. with return from Medina Azahara at 1:30 p.m.
• 11:00 h. with return from Medina Azahara at 14:15 h.
